The days are flying by! I hope the students are learning as much as I am. Once our day starts, we stay busy!
In math we worked more with expressions. Today we added variables to the mix. We also went over different ways to show multiplication. When using variables we don't not use "x" to show multiplication because x is often times used as a variable. There was no homework tonight, unless your child didn't turn in his/her work from yesterday.
In spelling we did a crossword puzzle, using our list. Next week we will not be doing spelling, as it is a short week.
In language we are still writing on our stories and reviewing subjects and predicates. We are also using this time to review parts of speech.
